1. Who we are
EliteMotion ("we", "us", "our") is an app that helps dance camp organizers manage camps, trainers, schedules, and private lesson bookings, and helps dancers browse camps, register, and book private lessons. We are the data controller for the personal data processed through EliteMotion.

2. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account data: email address and authentication information when you sign in.
- Registration data: your name, email, phone number, club, country, home teacher, dance disciplines, age group, class level, and competitive dance ID (e.g. WDSF number), when you register for a camp — and the same details for your dance partner, if you register as a couple.
- Booking data: the camp package you select and any private lesson requests you make, including your trainer preference and requested hours.
- Trainer & organizer data: if you use EliteMotion as a trainer or camp organizer, we also process your trainer profile, schedule assignments, and the booking data you manage on behalf of a camp.
- Usage data: device information, app version, and basic usage analytics to improve the service.
3. How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Create and manage your EliteMotion account.
- Process camp registrations and private lesson booking requests.
- Coordinate schedules and bookings between camp organizers, trainers, and dancers.
- Notify you about your registration status and relevant schedule changes.
- Improve the app and fix bugs.
We never sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes. EliteMotion does not process any in-app payments — camp fees, where applicable, are handled directly between you and the camp organizer, outside the app.
4. Data sharing
Your data is shared only in the following circumstances:
- With the camp you register for: your registration and booking details are visible to that camp's organizers and to the trainers you request private lessons with, since they need this information to run the event.
- Service providers: we use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and hosting. Their privacy policy applies to data processed on their infrastructure.
- Legal compliance: we may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.
Camp registration records are treated as a historical record of participation in a camp. This means camp organizers may retain your registration and booking details for camps you've taken part in — for their own administrative, accounting, and legal record-keeping purposes — even after you delete your personal account.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: request deletion of your account, subject to the historical camp-record retention described above.
- Portability: request your data in a portable format.
- Objection: object to certain types of processing.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
